The Frozen Fountain installation was situated where the original summer fountain of Gorky Park was historically located. The form of the installation gave the effect of running water as if it had been frozen at that moment.

The Frozen Fountain’s colour scheme changed according to the position of the sun, the angle of view and time of day.
